The DC-16 (Defensive Carbine, 16 inch)includes a mil-spec receiver and a cold hammer forged 16" chrome lined barrel barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO. Each DC-16 also includes the FSC556 Flash suppressing compensator (as used on the current SCAR weapon system).

Starting with a 16" chrome lined barrel with a 1:7 twist, the DC-16 is a true combat carbine upper.  The low profile quad rails give the most possible room for accessories and rail covers are included for when the picatinny rails are not in use.

The DC series uppers utilize a long stroke piston system for additional dwell time and smooth recoil. Accessories that are not included. XTM panels not included, set of full panel rail covers are included.
